I M A G I N E was exceptional evening of imaginative inspiration, which launched a brand new exhibition of Johny Dar’s ‘Horse Whispers’ art and photography at the Karma Sanctum Soho hotel in London. An interactive multimedia event, in which audiences could immerse in art, music and film within one symbiotic environment, I M A G I N E featured motion graphics, film, and books by Johny Dar, alongside a tantalising musical line up and a sensational menu of cocktails and alchemical elixirs.
‘Horse Whispers’ is an extraordinary collection of body art photography featuring a single Arabian stallion, hand-painted and photographed by Dar himself. A captivating fusion of art and nature, and touching tribute to the spirit of the horse, this unforgettable story is revealed in the ‘Horse Whispers’ book, which was presented at the launch of the exhibition alongside the limited edition at and photography prints.
While the bold, tribal beats of Dardelica set the scene in the cocktail reception, Paolo Tossio’s eclectic DJ set undoubtedly raised the roof, and Michele Adamson captivated the crowd with a mesmeric performance of her new ‘PsyVocal’ show. Bringing together a cornucopia of creativity in a singular immersive experience, I M A G I N E was a euphoric celebration of the role of the imagination in art and life, and an inciting exploration of new modalities for being and perceiving.
