Artist and designer Johny Dar teams up with wildlife photographer David Yarrow for iconic photography series - ‘The Wild’
The Wild features body painted models with wild animals, photographed in stunning natural landscapes to help raise awareness and funds for wildlife conservation.
The collaboration aims to raise awareness about wildlife conservation through iconic imagery, by showcasing the female body in a new and innovative way - in harmony with animals and the elements of nature. The project aims to inspire awareness and generate funds for nature conservation and protecting wildlife, and to empower women to discover their wild side, embrace their innate sensuality and celebrate their natural beauty.
The Wild - an original Johny Dar concept - is at the vanguard of creative and artistic innovation today. Each image is created from a masterful alchemy of natural elements, animals, Dar's body art, and David Yarrow's photography. The body art expressions are specifically designed to bring the subject closer to the animal being worked with, creating a second skin to mirror theirs, and producing images that highlight a sense of togetherness and natural equality.
The first image in this groundbreaking series was photographed in Big Timber, Montana, and features Eugenia Kuzmina - the Russian actress and model. Eugenia is an animal lover and strong voice in conservation, who showed remarkable fortitude on the shoot, which took place among the snowcapped mountains. This iconic photography series will feature images photographed in different locations around the world, and a range of models, landscapes and animals.
